A formatura é um momento único, marcado por símbolos como o uso de toga e capelo. Contudo, para pessoas negros, o uso tradicional do capelo pode não ser tão simples.
A Vult, promove o movimento Respeite Meu Capelo , que propõe a reformulação do chapéu, em parceria com Dendezeiro.
Foram produzidas quatro versões de capelos para acomodar e celebrar a diversidade e a beleza dos cabelos negros, abrangendo diversos estilos, texturas e tipos, criando assim uma experiência mais inclusiva durante a formatura.
Graduation is a unique moment, marked by symbols such as using academic robes and caps. However, for black individuals, the traditional use of the cap may not be so straightforward.
Vult, promotes the Grad In Black movement, which proposes the redesign of the accessory by Dendezeiro.
Four versions of caps were produced to accommodate and celebrate the diversity and beauty of Black hair, encompassing various styles, textures, and types, thereby creating a more inclusive experience during graduation.
After being shortlisted alongside 18 ideas out of more than 230 entries, I had to pitch Grad in Black in front of the Glass Lions Jury. The presentation lasted 10 long and emotional minutes — one of the most challenging tasks of my career. I poured my heart and soul into it, and the result was a Bronze Glass Lion in a year when only four were awarded in the entire category.
